Quoted performance data represents past performance. Past performance does not guarantee nor predict future performance. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance data quoted. Please keep in mind that double-digit returns are highly unusual and cannot be sustained.
Variable products are sold by prospectus. Consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses of the variable product and its underlying investment options carefully before investing. The prospectus contains this and other information about the variable product and its underlying investment options. Please review the prospectus available online for additional information. Read it carefully before investing.
Investment return and principal value of an investment will fluctuate so that an investor's unit values, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost.

* These returns are measured from the inception date of the fund and predate its availability as an investment option in the variable annuity (separate account). This hypothetical representation depicts how the investment option would have performed had the fund been available in the variable annuity during the time period. It includes deductions for the M&E charge, the contract administrative fee and a pro rata deduction for the annual contract charge. If selected above, the cost for a feature or death benefit will be reflected. No surrender charge is reflected.

*** In compliance with SEC guidelines, these results show each investment option's average annual total return for the most recent quarter. These numbers reflect the deduction of the M&E charge, the administrative fee, the deduction of surrender charges (if applicable) and a pro rata share of the annual contract charge. The performance figures will reflect the cost of any specific elective option and/or death benefit as selected above.
NOTE: This information is updated as soon as the data becomes available. We will use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information. However, due to any unexpected system outages, the company cannot guarantee the actual time of day that updated information will be posted.
Why don't variable-annuity subaccounts have ticker symbols? Ticker symbols are used for mutual funds that are publicly traded. According to the IRS's Revenue Ruling 81-125, annuity contracts that are available for non-qualified business cannot use publicly traded mutual funds. As a result, for those types of annuity contracts, we are permitted to use funds that are available only to insurance companies. Annuity contracts used in conjunction with qualified plans are allowed to use publicly traded funds. Studies** have shown that, on average, publicly available funds have higher expenses than funds available only to insurance companies. Currently, Lincoln has taken the position not to use these funds in those annuity contracts available only to qualified plans. Therefore, since the funds we use are not publicly traded, they do not have ticker symbols. [** NAVA's Article; The Real Cost of a Variable Annuity - 1998 Update].

1 International
Investing internationally involves risks not associated with investing solely in the United States, such as currency fluctuation, political risk, differences in accounting and the limited availability of information.
2 Small and Mid Cap
Funds that invest small and/or mid-size company stocks typically involve greater risk, particularly in the short term, than those investing in larger, more established companies.
3 Money Market Funds
An investment in a money market fund is not insured or guaranteed by the FDIC or any other government agency. Although the fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the fund.
4 Index
An index is unmanaged, and one cannot invest directly in an index.
5 Sector Funds
Funds that concentrate investments in one region or industry may carry greater risk than more broadly diversified funds.
6 Government Bonds and T-Bills
Government bonds and Treasury bills are backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, and typically pay a fixed rate of return.
7 High Yield Bonds
High yield bonds experience higher volatility and increased credit risk when compared to other fixed income investments.
8 High Yield Portfolio
The portfolio may invest in high-yield or lower-rated securities, which may provide greater returns but are subject to greater-than-average risk such as increased risk of non-payment or default.
9 REIT
REITs involve risk such as refinancing, economic conditions in the real estate industry, changes in property values, dependency on real estate management, and other risks associated with a portfolio that concentrates its investments in one sector or geographic region.
10 Emerging Markets
Investing in emerging markets can be riskier than investing in well-established foreign markets. International investing involves special risks not found in domestic investing, including increased political, social and economic instability.
11 Profile Funds
Profile funds diversify among various asset classes within a product. While diversification may help reduce the investment risk, it does not ensure a profit or guarantee against a loss.
12 S&P
